Martha first came to see us back last spring when she was just an itty bitty newborn! She has grown so much and we had such a fun time capturing her 6 month portraits! These were done just before the holidays so we had a lot of fun with getting her all dolled up for Christmas! I especially love her little Santa outfit!

One of our favorite families from the past few years came in for a fun family session with their two kiddos that are growing up so fast! Keira has changed so much since her 1 year session and Riley just keeps getting more handsome and sweet each time we see him! Miss Keira wasn’t too keen on the whole picture thing at first, but she came around towards the end of our session and loved to look at our favorite animal book. :-) Riley really was such a joy to photograph! I love the age that he is at as most of the time they kind of enjoy getting their picture taken! We got some great family shots of everyone as well (and even a few of just mom & dad!).

Ms. Aris was such a beautiful little princess! She was the first newborn of 2012 that I photographed and she was just perfect as could be. So many favorites from this session, it was hard to pick which one to share first. Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!

Amy! This is beautiful!! The textures and color are perfect.
Last weekend brought our first sessions of the new year and first up was this adorable little guy for his first birthday photos! His mom had this adorable idea and brought along some of his favorite animals to get in on the fun. What resulted is what is now probably one of my favorite baby photos ever! I just couldn’t resist sharing this one right away. Happy Friday!

This little guy was one of my most memorable newborns of last year. He was born at just 28 weeks out of state and arrived back home to Minnesota just before his due date. When it was time for his session, he was the same size a any other full term baby, and you never would’ve thought that he had been through so much! He was a fantastic sleeper for us and we had some fun with him posing him with his baseball. I also loved the family shots we took! He and his dad had matching chin dimples, so cute!
