Remember this adorable guy?  Well, he’s about to become a big brother!  In just a few short weeks the P family will be welcoming a new little sister!  He’s a VERY proud big brother and mom and dad are equally as excited to meet the newest member of their family.  Mom and big bro came over for a fun maternity session.  They were the first ones to break in my new natural light studio too!  It was SO much fun to photograph them and mom’s beautiful belly.  Makes me *almost* want to be pregnant again.   No, but really, she’s just a gorgeous expecting mommy and I’m so lucky that I was able to capture these for her.

How you can vote:

2. The second way is to vote on our Facebook Fan Page. To vote there, comment on the photo within the Baby & Kid Contest album that you would like to vote for with any sort of comment (example: “Here’s my vote!”)  One vote is allowed each day per Facebook account.  Multiple votes/comments on the same day will disqualify your votes for each day, so please just vote once per day.
3. All of the votes from the blog and Fan Page will then be combined and we’ll determine our two winners!

Ever since my daughter was born, almost exactly one year ago, I’ve been excited and sad at the same time about taking her one year photos.  I knew I wanted to do a cake smash type of session because they had always looked like SO much fun and I had wished I had done one with our son when he turned one.  So, I set the stage, baked a giant cupcake cake (practice run before our party on Sunday too!), and got my new studio all set up and ready to go for her.

Now, I must tell you, my little peanut…well…the girl can eat like no baby I’ve ever seen.  As soon as she saw my husband bring the cake into the room, she went NUTS!  We set it down, I started shooting…and…well, I’ll let these speak for themselves…

• Send ONE favorite photo of your child(ren), any past or current photo will do, anytime between today (March 2nd) and Tuesday, March 16th to our email amy@tentinytoesphoto.com  **If you have mulitple children, you can either submit a photo of them together, or separately, but you can only vote on one photo per day (they can all be a part of the mini session, even if entered separately).
  • Please add the following information to your submission email…(this information WILL NOT be included in the postings of your pictures! This is just information for us to use to contact you if you win and to send you special deals on your child(rens) birthdays!)

I’m sure I’m not the only one that is SO sick of Winter already.  It’s always this time of year that I think we all start getting spring fever!  Warmer days (aka – 40 degrees!) begin to appear and the snow slowly starts to melt.  It won’t be long before those little crocus flowers are peeking through the last little bit of snow. 

March is already upon us and with that, our calendar has been filling up quickly with Spring sessions!  So, if you are hoping to get a session scheduled in the next couple of months, you’ll want to act quickly!  We only have one opening left in March and two openings left in April!  We’re also taking bookings in May and June now as well.

Worried about the weather?  No reason to worry now as we now have indoor, natural light studio space at my home in Rosemount.  Of course, we will prefer to stay on location for most of our sessons, but it’s a nice alternative in case the weather is an issue.

We’re gearing up for our appearance this weekend at the Midwest Kids Fest!  I’m so excited as this is the first time we have done something like this and we can’t wait to get our name out there some more and meet some new friendly faces!  If you’re family is anything like ours at the moment, you’re DYING to get out of the house after this awful snow we’ve gotten this week.  Well, this is the perfect opportunity to get everyone out and about to burn some energy and have some fun!  Be sure to stop by and see us as we have a special gift for everyone that stops by and we’ll be having a drawing for a free session for anyone that signs up for our e-Newsletter!

Prepare yourself for the cuteness!  There’s nothing I love more than a sweet little girl to get all dressed up and girly.  I LOVE these kinds of sessions where we bust out fun props and backdrops.  Sweet Miss A’s family contacted me to have a 9 month session for their little peanut and she was as cute as could be!

She had the most gorgeous sparkly blue eyes.

And we had SO much fun with her in the tutu!

I just couldn’t resist her adorable little toes.  This is one of my favorite shots.

And I love that mom and dad wanted to do some shots in her room with her favorite book. 

And we braved the outdoors in one of the snowiest winters I can remember in a LONG time and took a few outside.  She had the most adorable little fur coat and matching boots!
