…that lasts forever! The {R} family was so wonderful to work with! It was so fun to have older kids as subjects, they are definitely more cooperative than the little ones I’m used to photographing and I didn’t have to bribe them with any Smarties! We caught one of the last beautiful fall days and took some shots outside of their home and then went to a local park for some more. Both E and her mom were beautiful and it was so easy to make them look good. S was equally as handsome and he got in some good practice for his senior photos that he’ll be having next year too. :-)
A, E & S, thank you so much for welcoming me into your home to take your photos. I’m excited for you guys to see the rest of them! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Handsome little {C} is just 6 months old and just so incredibly sweet! We met up at a gorgeous park along the St. Croix River for our session on one of the most beautiful fall days we’ve had this year. He really has one of the most sweet, laid back dispositions you’ll ever see in a baby! He was SO easy to photograph, as were mom and dad. This family is just so beautiful, I wish I could photograph them every day!
W Family, thanks so much for letting me capture you guys at this fun time in your lives. I hope we can do it again! Enjoy your sneak peek!

These two adorable brothers are some of the sweetest and cutest boys you’ll ever meet. We met up on a chilly fall day at one of my new favorite places to have children’s sessions. They had such a great time exploring and chasing each other around while we had our session. They kept me smiling and laughed at all of my preschooler-aged humor (lots of gross noises !) I love all of the expressions that we got during their session, it really captures the ages that they are at, which is SO much fun!
W family, thank you SO much for allowing me to capture your adorable boys in this way. This is why I love what I do so much! I hope you like your sneak peek!

Little baby B was welcomed a few weeks earlier than mom and dad anticipated, but was welcomed and loved nonetheless. I had the honor of getting to take some photos of this little cutie last weekend and he was just a gem! He slept for a good couple of hours and let us put him in a ton of props and poses.
J Family, thank you SO much for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to capture your beautiful little guy for you, it was truly an honor! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

The J family was brave enough to venture out into one of the coldest days of the fall thus far to meet me in downtown Stillwater for their family session. They did a great job hiding how cold it was and we found some really fun spots for their photos. They were so fun to work with because they were up for just about any pose and some really funky locations.
Thanks J family for freezing your tails off with me! I had a great time with you all and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

…Stays together! I met up with the V family on a brisk fall day as the leaves were just starting to turn that warm shade of yellow that is a sure sign that autumn is upon us. Their two boys, N & J, were quite comical and had me cracking up the entire time. They had as opposite of personalities as two brothers could have, but I could tell that they have a lot of fun together. They were such a fun family to photograph and we got some great photos!
V family, I hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek! I smile every time I look at your session!

K is a senior at White Bear Lake High School this year and we met up on one of the first REALLY cold weekends of the season on the outskirts of downtown St. Paul. We found some really great spots to capture an assortment of looks and styles that brought out his great personality. These are some of my favorite senior shots to date!! I’m so lucky to get to work with so many awesome seniors and their families, and K was no exception.
K, I can’t wait for you to see the rest. Thank you for being such a trooper in the cold weather! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

This beautiful mommy to be is one of my best friends from high school. She’s expecting her first little one in just a few more weeks and I was so lucky to be able to hang out with her one night to get some fun maternity shots. We really had a great time at this nice little park and I took this as my chance to try to get some cool shots at sunset.
M, thank you SO much for allowing me to capture this special time in your life. I can’t wait for your little one to arrive and to meet them. It’s so funny to think way back when we were just cheerleaders in high school and to look at how far our lives have come. You and D are going to be great parents and will have SO much fun! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Little baby B was welcomed to the world on 09/09/09 at 9:09 am (can you imagine if he had been 9 lbs 9 oz?!) As you can see, he was definitely worth the wait, in more ways than one! It may have taken 2 tries for us to get him nice and sleepy, but once we got him there, he was just a gem. How can you resist his smooshy adorable lips? I know I can’t!
Thank you C family for welcoming me into your home, not once, but twice to capture your newest addition to your family. I can’t wait to see him grow over these next months and years. Enjoy your sneak peek!

B I G stretch!

This handsome and energetic guy is R. He is one of my son’s bestest buddies that we’ve had the pleasure of knowing ever since they were babies in ECFE together. I was super excited when Mom asked me if I would do a session with them. So, one beautiful Sunday morning we met up for some fun and running around at this nice spot (which you might think is at a farm, but it’s smack dab in the middle of the city!)
R kept me on my toes, but the nice part about knowing your clients pretty well, is knowing how to get them to smile and laugh (and a little candy bribe didn’t hurt either). He gave us some fantastic expressions that I think most people that know any 3 year olds can appreciate, as well as some sweet smiles.
Thank you P family for driving all the way out to meet me and to allow me to capture R at this fun age. I hope you like your sneak peek and I can’t wait for you to see the rest!
