If you’re new to mini sessions and unsure of what they are, they are basically a scaled down version of one of our full portrait sessions. Our mini sessions include 20 minutes of shooting and 10 fully-edited proofs presented to you in an online gallery. You can then choose from our 2 Collections, outlined below, and will also have access to order any of our other prints or products a la carte.

We have 2 great locations to choose from for this round of minis:

• Morning sessions (8:00 am – 11:00 am) will be held at Holz Farm in Eagan. We had a great response to that location for our Spring Minis and I know it will be even more beautiful with the fall colors!
• Afternoon sessions (3:00 pm – 6:00 pm) will be held at Minnehaha Falls Park in Minneapolis.  If you’ve never been there before, it’s one of my favorite places to shoot families and kids!

Pricing Changes effective August 1st

We’ll have many of our favorite props on hand, but as always, you’re encouraged to bring anything you’d like to use as well!

The atmosphere at Holz Farm is a charming old farmhouse and barn with many options for both unique and classic backgrounds.  It’s a great little place to have your portraits taken!

The fine print:
Mini session includes up to 2 children (plus parents).  If more than 2 children, we cannot guarantee both individual and shots together due to time limitations, so we recommend that you book back to back appointments for an additional $25 charge.

A deposit of $50 is due at time of booking to secure your session, which is put towards your package purchase.  Sessions that have not been paid within 3 days of booking will be opened back up to others for booking.  Should you need to cancel, we will give you a full refund up to 3 days before the event.  Cancellations within 3 days of the event will not be refunded.  Full package fees do not include sales tax.

Online galleries will be posted within 3 weeks of the sessions and will be live for one week for ordering.

If we need to cancel due to weather, you will have the option of receiving a full refund of your booking fee or the option of keeping your same session time on our rain date (yet to be determined, will be sometime in June).

VOTING INSTRUCTIONS!!!

We’ll have two methods of voting each day beginning Tuesday, March 16th through 11:59 pm on Wednesday, March 24th.

How you can vote:

1. The first and easiest way to vote is here on the blog, in the poll below. It is set up so that you can vote once per day from your computer.  It will reset  24 hours after your previous vote for you to vote again the following day.
2. The second way is to vote on our Facebook Fan Page. To vote there, comment on the photo within the Baby & Kid Contest album that you would like to vote for with any sort of comment (example: “Here’s my vote!”)  One vote is allowed each day per Facebook account.  Multiple votes/comments on the same day will disqualify your votes for each day, so please just vote once per day.
3. All of the votes from the blog and Fan Page will then be combined and we’ll determine our two winners!
