We’ve set the date for our holiday mini sessions this fall! Thank you to all those that participated in our poll a few weeks back about when, where and what to include for our mini sessions. I hope you enjoy what we’ve put together!

If you’re new to mini sessions and unsure of what they are, they are basically a scaled down version of one of our full portrait sessions. Our mini sessions include 20 minutes of shooting and 10 fully-edited proofs presented to you in an online gallery. You can then choose from our 2 Collections, outlined below, and will also have access to order any of our other prints or products a la carte.

We have 2 great locations to choose from for this round of minis:

Morning sessions (8:00 am – 11:00 am) will be held at Holz Farm in Eagan. We had a great response to that location for our Spring Minis and I know it will be even more beautiful with the fall colors!
Afternoon sessions (3:00 pm – 6:00 pm) will be held at Minnehaha Falls Park in Minneapolis. If you’ve never been there before, it’s one of my favorite places to shoot families and kids!

Did you know that we are ONE already?! Wow, what a whirlwind it’s been! It’s CRAZY that a year has gone by already. I look back at this time last year and wonder if I was crazy to start this little venture of mine. I never really did plan on starting up as a business, it just sort of happened I guess. And from there, things just continued to spiral and before I knew it, I had all these amazing clients entrusting ME with their families memories. How lucky am I? VERY. And I have all of you to thank!

I’ve got a few fun little things up my sleeve as we celebrate over the next few weeks, so be sure to check the blog often and the Facebook Fan Page so you don’t miss out!

Well, with taking some bookings in to September already, I thought I’d better start the ball rolling with some thoughts about fall and holiday mini sessions. Our Summer Minis were a smashing success and a ton of fun, but I want to make sure we give you what you want in these.

This is the perfect baby shower gift for expecting parents and will be enjoyed long after the swings, strollers and baby clothes have been outgrown. Of coruse, it’s not just limited to babies, in fact this is a great idea for birthdays, anniversaries or any other occasion as well!

One of the my favorite things about the Internet and social networking is that you have an infinite amount of resources at your fingertips. No longer are you confined to the local area you live in to find great products, services and resources, the sky is the limit now! I also love sharing and learning about other great businesses from other people. So, I thought it would be fun to somehow incorporate this into the blog!

I’m really excited to start this new monthly feature here called Feature Fridays! The last Friday of each month (or maybe more often, we’ll see), I will be featuring a local or online business for all various types of products and services. Maybe it will be clothing or accessories to compliment your next photo session, or maybe a great local service in the Twin Cities. Either way, I think it will be fun to learn about some other small businesses and I would also love to hear about any of your favorite shops or resources as well and maybe even feature them too!

After 1,400+ votes on our blog poll and 300+ votes on our Facebook Fan Page, the results are in! We had a great time throughout this last week watching the roller coaster of votes coming in. We had votes coming in from all over the world from places like Mexico, Germany and even Japan! I can’t thank you all enough for your excitement and participation in our contest. I hope you all had as much fun as I did!

I’m happy to say without a doubt that the contest was conducted in a fair manner. I personally went through and looked at every single vote cast in the blog poll and on Facebook and took out those that did not comply with the contest rules.

So, without further ado ****drumroll**** here are our winners!
