This gorgeous newborn session has got to be one of my favorites to date (well, they’re sort of all my favorites!). This sweet newborn girl came a little earlier than planned, but she was a fabulous little sleeper for us and let us capture some really unique shots! Mom & Dad also got in on the fun and we captured some beautiful family images and with each of them individually. Big sister {S} didn’t miss out on the action either and we managed to capture a few one with her and her new baby sister (with the help of some strategically placed Smarties!)

These two adorable cousins were a lot of fun to shoot! Miss M had the most beautiful blue eyes contrasting with her adorable little brown curls. And Miss A might only be just about 5 months old, but she had such a spitfire little personality and sweet disposition. We were at Grandma & Grandpa’s beautiful garden they had, I wish my yard looked this nice!
Thanks L&J for letting me capture your beautiful daughter and sweet niece. We got some fun shots of Miss A and I can’t wait for you to see the rest!

Remember this amazingly adorable newborn? Well, she’s SIX months old already! I just can’t believe it! She and her big brother came over for her six month session and we had so much fun. Big bro was a HUGE help in knowing exactly how to get smiles out of his little sis and I could see how much they love each other, it was so sweet! I adored the outfits and accessories that mom brought too (she shares an addiction to Etsy with me), especially the teal and the feathered headbands! Aren’t they adorable?
Thank you {P} family for once again letting me capture your daughter and your adorable son! I had a great time with you guys and I hope you love your sneak peek!

This gorgeous peanut was just about 2 weeks old when I got to visit her in her new home for her first portraits. She was just beautiful and one of the best sleepers I’ve ever had. She had some of the most gorgeous, smooth baby skin. You know, like the skin you imagine when you think of a sweet little baby? I couldn’t get enough of her!

Oh, how I have loved seeing this little guy grow! He was one of my first newborn clients, see his newborn images here. He still has the same adorable pouty lips and cute as a button nose, but now he’s all brawn and boy! He came over for his 6 month session this past weekend and we had a GREAT time with him and capturing these images. He’s just so darn handsome and has THE most adorable little grins!

Ever since my daughter was born, almost exactly one year ago, I’ve been excited and sad at the same time about taking her one year photos. I knew I wanted to do a cake smash type of session because they had always looked like SO much fun and I had wished I had done one with our son when he turned one. So, I set the stage, baked a giant cupcake cake (practice run before our party on Sunday too!), and got my new studio all set up and ready to go for her.
Now, I must tell you, my little peanut…well…the girl can eat like no baby I’ve ever seen. As soon as she saw my husband bring the cake into the room, she went NUTS! We set it down, I started shooting…and…well, I’ll let these speak for themselves…

We’ve been SUPER busy at our household moving into a new house, so I apologize for the lack of blog posts lately. I’ve got a TON of fun sessions lined up for March and I can’t wait to share the images from those. Prepare yourself for the cuteness! There’s nothing I love more than a sweet little girl to get all dressed up and girly. I LOVE these kinds of sessions where we bust out fun props and backdrops. Sweet Miss A’s family contacted me to have a 9 month session for their little peanut and she was as cute as could be!
She had the most gorgeous sparkly blue eyes.
And we had SO much fun with her in the tutu!
I just couldn’t resist her adorable little toes. This is one of my favorite shots.
Is she not just the sweetest thing ever?
And I love that mom and dad wanted to do some shots in her room with her favorite book.
And we braved the outdoors in one of the snowiest winters I can remember in a LONG time and took a few outside. She had the most adorable little fur coat and matching boots!

I have been counting down the days until I got to photograph this little guy. He’s the new baby of one of my bestest friends from high school and he’s about as cute as they come. Remember this beautiful mommy? Well, her wait is over and little {J} couldn’t be more perfect. He was just nine days old yesterday when we had his session and he was a rock star for us and slept right through without making a peep the entire time.
M & D, I had such a wonderful time meeting and photographing your little man. D, here’s the baseball one especially for you. Love you guys!
