One of my favorite little guys was back for his 6 (well, just about 7) month photos last week, he’s growing up SO quickly!! He’s already a big baseball fan at his fine young age, so we started out at the ball field (these were especially for daddy!) and I think he’s such a natural on the mound already. ;-) Then we headed over to one of my new favorite locales and got some other fun, farm style shots. I just can’t get enough of his chubb!
Thanks M & D again for letting me capture little J. Had a great time once again!

Miss {G} and her family came over for her big one year session last weekend. They were such a sweet and adorable family! She was a busy little bee exploring all over the place and playing with her little pearl necklace we put on her. She also had the most gorgeous blue eyes. I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I especially love when I get to photograph little blue eyed babes since my kids have such dark eyes (thanks, hubby!). I just love the way they look in the light and really grab your attention.
W Family, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your family and your adorable little girl. It was wonderful meeting you guys and getting to know you! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Ever since my daughter was born, almost exactly one year ago, I’ve been excited and sad at the same time about taking her one year photos. I knew I wanted to do a cake smash type of session because they had always looked like SO much fun and I had wished I had done one with our son when he turned one. So, I set the stage, baked a giant cupcake cake (practice run before our party on Sunday too!), and got my new studio all set up and ready to go for her.
Now, I must tell you, my little peanut…well…the girl can eat like no baby I’ve ever seen. As soon as she saw my husband bring the cake into the room, she went NUTS! We set it down, I started shooting…and…well, I’ll let these speak for themselves…

We’ve been SUPER busy at our household moving into a new house, so I apologize for the lack of blog posts lately. I’ve got a TON of fun sessions lined up for March and I can’t wait to share the images from those. I love my job. Seriously. I can’t think of many other ways that I’d rather spend my time other than photographing newborns in their first few weeks of life. They are so small and innocent and just pure perfection. Little {H} was no exception. He was the perfect little man for us and conked out pretty much from the moment I arrived and let us take such great shots of him!
I really wish I could express how grateful I feel that people choose *me* to photograph their children. It’s truly an honor and a blessing that I’m so lucky to get to do.
